The Communications Directorate of the Presidency of Faso invites citizens, friends and partners of Burkina Faso to always refer to the official channels of the Presidency of Faso, to attest to the veracity of the remarks and messages from the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré.

She specifies that the presidency of Faso could initiate legal proceedings against the authors and relayers of the false statements attributed to the president of Faso.

‘For some time and on a recurring basis, individuals have been spreading on social networks, messages and remarks allegedly attributed to His Excellency Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, President of Faso, Head of State.

Regretting such tendentious and malicious practices, the Communications Directorate of the Presidency of Faso wishes to emphasize that these false allegations cannot and cannot be attributed to the Head of State who has official channels to communicate with his compatriots and the all the fri
ends and partners of Burkina Faso.

She therefore invites Burkinabè and all Internet users to be more vigilant and to always refer to the official channels of the Presidency of Faso.

In any case, the Institution reserves the right to take legal action against the authors of such messages, as well as their relays. »
