Ouagadougou: France shared on Sunday ‘its shock and indignation’ after the assassination attempt against Donald Trump.
‘It is a tragedy for our democracies. France shares the shock and indignation of the American people,’ the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, tweeted on Sunday.
He was reacting following the assassination attempt on Saturday against Donald Trump, then campaigning in Pennsylvania.
‘My thoughts to President Donald Trump, victim of an assassination attempt, to whom I wish a speedy recovery. One activist died, several are injured,’ added President Macron.
