Ambazonia Separatists took advantage of the hundreds of bikes that paraded the streets of Azire and Commercial Avenir honouring their death friend, to strike at two Policemen guarding the UBA bank.The incident happened swiftly as the Bikers paraded the corpse of their colleague who was crushed by a truck last week, gunshots were suddenly heard for about two minutes at Commercial Avenue.Security source say the attackers embedded among the Bikers but they had received instructions not to open fire.Two members of the mobile intervention unit of the Police GMI , Batare and Fotsing Nji were shot dead at their duty post.Bamenda has remained a hotspot since 2016 when the Anglophone crisis was transformed into an armed conflict.Source : Cameroon News Agency
