Among the 103 terrorists killed on July 31, 2024 in Koulpélogo (Central-East) by the Burkinabè army, is Dicko Tidjane alias Abou Darda (37 years old), a murderer at the head of of 250 men who were scouring the province, the AIB learned Thursday from security sources.A Combatant Forces patrol on mission in the village of Napadé, commune of Soudigui, in the province of Koulpélogo, valiantly repelled a terrorist attack on the morning of July 31, 2024.Thanks to the bravery of the soldiers, the enemy suffered a crushing defeat and fled, leaving 103 corpses on the battlefield.Among these assassins killed, is the terrorist leader, Dicko Tidjane alias Abou Darda, long wanted by the Defense and Security Forces (FDS).This 37-year-old murderer was trained in 2019 in the Tiourel/Kabonga terrorist base before being placed at the head of more than 250 assassins.Dicko Tidjane alias Abou Darda was particularly active in attacks against the FDS and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in the communes of Soudigui, Sangha, Ouargaye, Koogo, Méné, Yourga, Bagamoussa, Yondé and Napadé in the province of Koulpélogo.According to our sources, its neutralization constitutes a hard blow for the so-called Support Group for Islam and Muslims (GSIM) in the East and Center-East regions.Source : Burkina Information Agency
