Post: CARFO Engages Kenedougou Public Officials on Work Accident Management

Kenedougou: A mission from the Autonomous Civil Servants' Pension Fund (CARFO), led by Jean Didier Sawadogo, head of the occupational risk prevention department, engaged with public officials in Orodara about work accident and occupational disease coverage.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the awareness-raising meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2025, aimed to inform public officials about CARFO's coverage mechanisms for accidents and illnesses related to professional activities. Sawadogo highlighted the mission's objective to prevent occupational risks and ensure officials are aware of their treatment rights.

Sawadogo noted that a lack of information has led some employees to incur debts for treatment after work-related incidents, despite available support from CARFO. He emphasized the importance of administrative managers disseminating this information to mitigate the socio-economic consequences of occupational risks.
