Tunis: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) Maghreb Office and the Arab Institute for Human Rights held Saturday in Tunis a Maghreb consultation on the draft recommendations on the ethics of neurotechnology.The consultation is intended to contribute to developing an international assessment tool to promote ethics and protect human rights amid the advancement of neurotechnology.Neurologists, biologists, sociologists, human rights activists and experts in AI from Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania and Libya participated in the consultation.Workshops held as part of the consultation focused on the draft recommendations on the ethics of neurotechnology.
