President Kaïs Saïed has called on regional officials to face up to their responsibilities and assume their duties at the service of the people, according to a press release issued by the Presidency of the Republic.
The head of state, who received Social Affairs Minister Malek Zahi at the Carthage Palace on Thursday, said the state would never abandon its role in social sectors such as health and education.
"Anyone who deviates from this path has no place in the administration. Every official must serve the citizen and the country or give way to someone else who is up to the responsibility," the Head of State said, according to the press release.
