Post: Head of State Departs for Algeria to Mark 70th Anniversary of Liberation Revolution.

Tunis: President of the Republic Kais Saied departed for Algeria on Thursday following an invitation from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The visit is aimed at attending the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Algerian Liberation Revolution.

According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the Head of State was given a formal send-off by key officials including Prime Minister Kamel Madouri, Tunis Governor Imed Boukhris, Secretary General in charge of the Municipality of Tunis Lotfi Dachraoui, and members of the Presidential Cabinet. Additionally, Algeria’s Ambassador in Tunis, Azzouz Balal, was present at the ceremony marking the president’s departure.
