Post: Ibogo Residents in Italy Donate Ambulance and Health Products to Village

Boulgou: Residents of the village of Ibogo, in the commune of Niaogho, living in Italy, handed over a new ambulance and health products to their village on Saturday. The ceremony, filled with emotion and gratitude, brought together authorities, healthcare workers, and local residents.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was chaired by the High Commissioner of Boulgou Province, Domegbeguiere Constantin DabirE. The President of the Special Delegation of the Niaogho Commune, Karim Sana, the Garango Health District Management Team, health workers, and many residents of Ibogo were in attendance.

In his address, the High Commissioner welcomed this gesture of solidarity, which he said demonstrated the commitment of the local community's sons and daughters to supporting community development. He urged the population to strengthen unity and social cohesion, essential conditions for addressing health and social challenges.

The new ambulance meets a critical need for medical evacuation in this rural village. It will reduce patient transfer times to referral facilities and thus improve patient care.

In addition to the ambulance, batches of health products were donated to the local Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS). Healthcare staff, through the Garango Health District Management Team, expressed their gratitude to the donors and pledged to use them wisely for the benefit of patients.

The handover of this ambulance and health products by Ibogo nationals living in Italy illustrates the importance of solidarity and community self-engagement in improving living conditions. Local authorities welcomed this initiative, while inviting other sons and daughters of the province to draw inspiration from this example to support grassroots development.
