Tunis: Four Daughters' by Kaouther Ben Hania clinched the Best Director award at the 14th edition of the Malmo Arab Film Festival (MAFF) in Sweden.A film project by director Sarra Abidi "Wear and Tear" secured three awards within the Post-Production Platform of the 10th edition of MAFF Industry Days (MID), held April 23-26.The full list of winners of MAFF, organised on April 22-28, was unveiled on Sunday night during a ceremony at the Royal Cinema in Malmö."Four Daughters," Ben Hania's 5th feature film, is a co-production between Tunisia (Cinetelefilms prod), France, Saudi Arabia, and Germany.This film premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival (May 16-27, 2023) and was Tunisia's entry for the 2024 Oscars.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
