Local elections candidate for the Kheireddine constituency (Goulette/Tunis 2) Hosni Tebourbi called on the voters to take part in the elections for the sake of their region.In a statement to TAP, the candidate said that he had submitted two days ago his programme to the Local Election Authority (IRIE) for approval.The candidate undertook to set up a a club for retired people in the region and to create a space for pétanque enthusiasts, who are numerous in the Goulette region.Tebourbi further promised to improve the road network and street lighting, and to clean the region's beaches throughout the year.The candidate also promised to create a family space at the Goulette, to improve the state of the rail network in the northern suburbs and to build a rainwater retention basin.Eight candidates, including 1 with disability, are vying for seats in the Goulette, which includes 5 constituencies: Kheireddine, the Goulette, the Goulette Casino, Taieb Mhiri and Essalama neighbourhood.
