Post: Nazinon Sees First Batch of Patriotic Immersion Graduates: 1,631 Ready to Serve the Nation

Nazinon: Under pouring rain, the Nation Square of Manga, the capital of Nazinon, hosted, Tuesday morning, the graduation ceremony of the first class of the region's compulsory Patriotic Immersion, with 1,631 new graduates. This ceremony, chaired by the governor of the Nazinon region, Yvette M. Nacoulma/Sanou, comes after a month of training in national values such as civic-mindedness, patriotism, responsible citizenship, and social cohesion. It took place in the presence of administrative, military, religious, and traditional authorities, as well as parents of students.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the governor hailed the success of the initiative, which instilled in participants the moral values essential to building a strong and prosperous nation. Yvette Nacoulma recalled that the mandatory Patriotic Immersion, desired and instituted by the government under the leadership of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, aims to strengthen civic engagement and the defense of national values. "You must be vectors of social cohesion, the eyes and ears of the State wherever you are. In a word, you must breathe burkinlim, that is to say, be Burkinabe!" she declared, addressing the first class of the patriotic immersion in the region.

Ms. Nacoulma also expressed her gratitude to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), the trainers, the supervisors, the Mission Manager of the Nazinon region to the Presidency of Faso, as well as the Regional Coordination of Citizen Watch (CRVC-Nazinon), for their involvement in the success of this 2025 edition. The ceremony was punctuated by the presentation of certificates to the "immersed", self-defense demonstrations, and a parade of the "immersed".

According to the Director of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training, Djeneba OUEDRAOGO, in total, 816 boys and 815 girls were involved in this first edition of the compulsory patriotic immersion in the Nazinon region.
