Ndu D.O creates commission to probe 6-year long killings in villages

The Divisional Officer of Ndu subdivision, Adamu Shuaibu, announced the creation of a commission to probe unprecedented killings in two villages.

The commission will be charged with investigating kidnappings, killings, and robberies in Sop and Nseh Makop, villages from June 1, 2018, to October 1, 2024.

The commission includes the DO of Ndu, the Brigade Commander of Ndu, the Mayor of Ndu Council, the Field Pastor of Ndu, the Commissioner of Police, and the Imam of Ntumbaw.

A peace meeting covened by members of the Wimbum Cultural and Development Association, WICUDA, has far reachign agreements by both the natives and settlers. The meeting was also attended by Mbororo leaders.

Howver, nothing changed, as suspected Mbororo militias continued meyhem in the villages.
