Yaadga: After a month of intense training in civics, citizenship, and physical exercises, 3,235 immersed people declared themselves ready for the homeland during the closing ceremony of the end of training on Tuesday at the Place de la Nation, presided over by the governor of the Yaadga region, Thomas Yampa, noted the AIB on site.
According to Burkina Information Agency, after a month of intense training in civics, citizenship, and physical exercise, the 3,235 immersion students from the Yaadga region said their goodbyes at the end of a solemn ceremony. The class's spokesperson, Pingdwende Rachida Nouria Ouedraogo, on behalf of her classmates, thanked the authorities under the leadership of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, for their foresight in initiating the patriotic immersion, which is a true school for the nation.
"We have learned that social cohesion and living together are the pillars of any strong nation," she maintains. These are now citizens ready to serve Burkina Faso, anytime, anywhere, through exemplary behavior in the community. She also indicated that the immersed will be citizens aware of the challenges of digital technology and self-employment.
Yaadga Regional Governor Thomas Yampa congratulated and praised the immersion students for their discipline and high sense of patriotism, calling them Ambassadors of the Fatherland. "The future of Burkina Faso rests on your strong shoulders, and I am confident that this future is in good hands," the governor said.
A demonstration of self-defense exercises, a parade performed by the submerged and a symbolic presentation of certificates closed the activity.
