The investigating judge of the anti-terrorism court on Thursday issued committal orders against nine prison officers of different ranks recently arrested as part of the investigation into the escape of five "dangerous" prisoners from Mornaguia prison on October 31.Nadia Chaouachi, lawyer for the former director of Mornaguia prison, who is one of the detainees, said that her client and eight other prison officers had been questioned by an investigating judge of the anti-terrorism court, who was in charge of three cases related to the escape.The length of their detention has not yet been determined, she told TAP on Thursday.Last October 31, the Ministry of the Interior issued search warrants for five prisoners classified as "dangerous" who had escaped from the Mornaguia civil prison.Four of them were arrested on November 7, while hiding in Boukornine mountain (Ben Arous governorate).Two security officers had managed to arrest the last one on November 5, with the help of citizens in the Ettadhamen nei ghbourhood.Source: EN - Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
