Tourism receipts and cumulative workers' remittances reached TND 13.1 billion by November 20, data published on Tuesday by the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) show.Tourism receipts rose by 32%, from TND 4.8 billion in November 2022 to TND 6.4 billion in November 2023.Likewise, cumulative workers' remittances posted a slight 3.3% rise to TND 6.6 billion.This rise helped increase the net foreign exchange reserves to TND 24.8 billion (111 days of imports) as of November 27, compared to TND 21.9 billion (98 days of imports) a year earlier.External debt services were also by 43%, from TND 7.3 billion on November 20, 2022, to TND 10.5 billion now.The BCT's financial indicators further revealed a 15.5% rise in the refinancing volume to TND 13.2 billion, and the overall bank transactions by 38.6% to TND 2.3 billion as of November 27.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
