Tunindex dropped 0.82% on Monday, September 25, closing at 8428.6 points, within a low trading volume of TND 3.3 million, as per analysis by the brokerage firm "Tunisie Valeurs."
Departing from its trajectory compared to Friday's session, SOMOCER delivered the best performance of the day. The shares of the ceramic tiles specialist surged by 4.1% to TND 0.760. Trading in this stock was relatively limited, settling at TND 3,000.
Similarly, the SOTRAPIL stock displayed a commendable performance during the session. The shares of the hydrocarbon pipeline transportation specialist gained 2.6% to TND 15.250, with a trading volume of TND 63,000.
On the other hand, "Tunis Re" was among the stocks most penalised by investors during the session. The shares of the national reinsurer underwent a correction of -4.5%, closing at TND 6, with a capital outflow of TND 24,000 during the session.
SOTETEL also performed poorly during the session, falling victim to a selling trend. The shares of the telecommunications network specialist shed 3.7% to TND 3.660. Notably, trading in this stock amounted to only TND 32,000.
SOTUVER led the volume rankings, with a total trading capital of TND 506,000. Amid profit-taking, the shares declined by 2.3% to TND 12.150. The stock's annual performance remains solidly in positive territory, with a yield of 46%.
