Grain harvest in Zaghouan governorate is expected to fall this season to just 44% of the average for the last five years, which stood at around 850,000 quintals, according to estimates of the Regional Commissary for Agricultural Development (CRDA). This season's cultivated areas stand at 62,000 ha, including 42,000 ha of average harvest rate and 20,000 ha used for fodder due to their low profitability, Regional Agricultural Commissioner Faycel Kataa told TAP.
