The Bureau of the Assembly of People's Representatives (ARP) on Thursday held its first meeting of the 2nd parliamentary session. At the end of the meeting, chaired by ARP Speaker Brahim Bouderbala, the bureau deliberated and submitted 39 written questions to the respective government members, according to an ARP press release. It was also decided during this meeting to postpone the examination of proposal no.24-2023 on the setting up of a National Centre of Dramatic and Performing Arts. The bureau approved the request made by the President of the Parliamentary Committee on Rights and Freedoms to extend the deadline for drawing up the report on the activities of the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data between 2018 and 2021. Issues related to the Parliament's international activities, including the report on the ARP's representation at the 32nd session of the Executive Committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union held last September 20 in Iraq, were also discussed during this meeting.
